Synopsis

Two malcontents attempt to avenge their dismissal from the railroad by robbing the station at Warwick, which is manned by Margaret Hill. Her fiancé, Jack Adams, arrives and after a violent fight drives them off. Frustrated, the two men plan to blow up a railroad bridge. Tom Grady, the foreman, discovers the plot and tells Margaret to warn the train, which is being driven by Jack and has her mother as passenger. However, Pal, her pet dog, arrives with evidence that her sister Mary is in danger. She rushes home and finds Walter Bradson, Mary's "suitor," trying to force himself on Mary. At gunpoint, Margaret forces him to desist and compels him to drive her to the station. Exhausted, she falls on the track in front of the onrushing train, but Jack manages a daring rescue to save her and stops the train.
