Synopsis

Frederic Harmon and his wife Naomi settle down to an apparently idyllic married life, but after the birth of their child, Frederic becomes infatuated with Helen Carew. In order to get a divorce, Frederic agrees to let Helen "frame" Naomi and catch her in a compromising position with an acquaintance just released from Sing Sing. In court, Naomi consents to letting her husband go but refuses to give up custody of the child. To keep her baby, she lies to the court and claims that Frederic is not the father. Then, during a recess, Frederic discovers that the ex-Sing Sing prisoner is Helen's former lover, and also learns a few more facts about her shady past. As a result, he decides to go back to Naomi, and, with the help of the divorce court judge, he is able to reconcile with her.
