Synopsis
Billy Griffin, who is in love with Catherine Curtis, the daughter of a fight promoter, must fight her father in order to win her hand in marriage. Billy puts on the gloves and is knocked senseless by the elder Curtis, losing his memory in the process. Billy is later sentenced to 90 days in jail, where his cellmate, a former boxer, teaches him the fistic art. After he is released from jail, Billy becomes a boxer and is soon successful enough in the ring to be matched with the light heavyweight champion. Billy then regains his memory and remembers nothing of his days as a fighter. He enters the ring with the champ, and for several rounds he is badly beaten. Finally Catherine calls him yellow, and Billy, greatly angered, handily wins the fight. He also wins Catherine for his bride.
