Brief Synopsis

Virginia Dean enjoys a yachting trip with her father. She falls in love with the captain of the boat, John Reynolds. A gang of criminals has stowed away on board and they take over the yacht and set her father and the crew adrift in a small boat. However, they keep John and Virginia on board. When the yacht catches fire, they all abandon ship and take refuge on a nearby tropical island. Blackie Slade, the leader of the villains, rouses the natives to attack the others.

Synopsis

While on a yachting trip with her father, Virginia Dean falls in love with the vessel's captain, John Reynolds. The yacht is seized by a gang of criminals that have stowed away, and Virginia's father and the crew are set adrift in a small boat. John and Virginia are kept on board the yacht, which soon catches fire. All aboard abandon ship and take refuge on a nearby tropical island. Blackie, the leader of the thugs, incites the natives to attack the others; Blackie is slain, and the rest are rescued by a passing steamer. John and Virginia are united.
