Synopsis
Dr. Bob Hastings, a young surgeon who loses courage during his first operation, takes refuge from his family by joining a circus as physician and veterinarian. Christine, an orphan of circus parents who has been reared by Hagan, an accident victim, and Barman, the circus owner, falls in love with Bob. Barman, out of jealousy, fires Bob; and Christine, who is a popular trapeze artist, threatens to leave with him; but finding a note to Bob's former sweetheart, she believes he has spurned her love and accepts Barman's marriage offer. Bob leaves but is brought back by Hagan; a storm wrecks the main tent, and Barman is killed, while Christine is badly injured. Through extraordinary surgery, Bob saves Christine, who becomes his wife, and regains his place in the medical world.
