Synopsis
Beatrice Brown, 22-year-old member of a chorus line, returns to school on a windfall from an oil investment. She chooses the boarding school of Peggy Powell, whose millionaire father Beatrice would like to capture. Masquerading as "Sally May," Beatrice becomes close friends with Peggy. Beatrice, her "guardian," Bill Whipple, Mrs. Garrett, and Jimmy Garrett (who is in love with Peggy) are invited to spend the holidays with the Powells. Eventually Beatrice's ruse is discovered, and after several complications (including the elopement of Peggy and Jimmy) Beatrice and Powell marry.
