Synopsis
When Larry Brainerd is freed from Sing Sing prison on parole and decides to go straight, his old gang accuses him of being a yellow stool pigeon and sets out to get him. Three of the gang members--Maggie, Barney, and Carlisle--plot to blackmail Dick Sherwood, a man who has done much to help Larry set his feet firmly on the path of righteousness. Larry goes to Maggie and tries to persuade her to leave Sherwood alone, but the hardened girl will not listen to him. Joe Ellison, Maggie's father, is also released from stir and sets out to revenge himself on Carlisle, whom he paid well to keep Maggie from the life of crime. Larry frustrates the blackmail plot, and Carlisle and Barney are sent up the river. Joe is reunited with Maggie, who decides to marry Larry and live an honest life.
