Synopsis

Charlotte stumbles upon the secret workshop of Robert Vane, an inventor, who is perfecting an anti-submarine torpedo under the watchful eyes of German spies. Robert and Charlotte soon fall in love. During a skating exhibition at a Red Cross bazaar, Charlotte sees the spies while she is performing, and vainly attempts to warn Robert by carving a message in ice. Later, the conspirators steal the torpedo, resulting in a complex chase which ends with the spies in the arms of the secret service, and Charlotte in the arms of Robert.
