Synopsis
Jim Drake, who has shot a man in self-defense and is unable to prove it, flees to Mexico and is followed by Murray, a detective. Jim is befriended by Dolores Wolfe, the daughter of Steve Wolfe, a renegade American innkeeper; she is being forced to marry El Chino, a halfbreed Chinese bandit who keeps a secret gold mine. Jim defends the girl against her own father and the bandit, and when trapped by Dolores' father, he discovers the mine and cleverly captures the gang. Murray finds Jim through following Dolores and tells him the charges have been dropped against him; Jim returns home accompanied by the girl.
