Synopsis
"Hawk" Hollister, wanted for killing the sheriff's brother, decides to assist Marie Nicholls, who has fallen from a passing train, get to the ranch she has inherited from her uncle. He discovers that Marie alone knows the whereabouts of her uncle's treasure, sought by Trapp, foreman of the ranch. Hawk is arrested, but the sheriff releases him to rescue Marie when she falls into the clutches of Trapp's gang. Meanwhile, the sheriff learns that his own wife really killed his brother. Trapp is arrested, the uncle's disinherited wife is remunerated, and Hawk selects a ring for his bride-to-be from the uncle's treasure.
