Synopsis

Concealing his identity because of an old feud, Bill Duncan returns to the scene of his childhood and finds himself suspected of murdering a ranchman, Flynne, a former enemy of Bill's father. Flynne's estate has been bequeathed jointly to Rolfe McPherson, his foreman, and Helen, his daughter, who is given to understand that her father wished her to marry McPherson, who actually plotted Flynne's murder. He arouses the sheriff's suspicion of Billy Duncan, whom Helen loves; but Duncan escapes after being arrested. Through the jealousy of Rose, McPherson's housekeeper, his guilt is disclosed to Duncan and Helen; McPherson kidnaps Helen and rides for the border; Duncan rescues Helen, brings McPherson to justice, clears his name, and wins Helen.
