Synopsis

Jennie Blake, a schoolteacher from the city, comes between Paul Whalen and Jim Payne, fishing partners in the seaport town of Rocky Point, and is unable to decide which one she loves until Jim loses his temper and is beaten in a fight by Paul; she then marries Paul. Jim enters lighthouse service and 5 years later returns as coast inspector, finds Paul out of work, and sends the couple to a lonely and depressing lighthouse. On Jim's monthly visit to the light, Jennie is at times tempted by his amorous attentions. Paul loses his sight in a fall, and on Jim's next visit the blind husband suspects his wife and friend of infidelity. A fight ensues, and a blow restores Paul's sight. Jennie confesses that she has kissed Jim, but she declares that she has remained a faithful wife.
