Synopsis

Joe Bates resigns his job as ranch foreman and goes to El Paso to become a horse buyer for dealer Charles Burr. When he discovers that Burr was the man he had earlier knocked out for beating a horse, he leaves Burr's office before Burr sees him. Joe visits Fay Calvert, an Easterner he met on the train, and finds her distraught because Burr refused to buy her deceased father's racing horses at their agreed upon price. Joe, still Burr's agent, purchases the horses which are kept at a race track in Juarez, and agrees to deliver them in El Paso. Burr agrees but arranges with the leader of a band of Mexican rebels to seize the horses. With the help of Fay's fiancé, Bob Edmunds, and after gun and fist fights during which Burr is killed, Joe gets the horses to America, and Fay and Bob marry.
