Synopsis
Young bride Julia Lawrence is granted a charge account by her husband, Philip, and soon accumulates so many bills that Philip must work overtime to keep out of debt. Feeling neglected and misunderstood, Julia quarrels with Philip and succumbs to the attentions of Dana Herrick. Julia's flirtation ends when she discovers Dana with Mille Garreth, and her life begins a downward trend until she is forced to work as a checkgirl in a hotel. Philip, now prosperous, visits the establishment, and is reunited to a sadder but wiser Julia.
