Synopsis
Reed Lathrop, in response to a letter from Ruth Walling, returns to his old home, accompanied by his friend, "Toad" Hunter, to investigate an undercover attempt to force the ranchers to sell their property for practically nothing. Finding the ranchers demoralized, he organizes a vigilance committee and enlists the aid of the local circuit rider. Darnell, the owner of the saloon, and Blodgett, a local dealer in ranchlands, are revealed to be the arch-conspirators. After a battle in the street, the ranchers win the day and the outlaws are sent to prison.
