Synopsis

Richard Farquhar, falsely accused of a crime, is forced to resign his commission in the army. Remaining silent to protect Arnaud, the husband of his former fiancée, Sylvia, Farquhar joins the Foreign Legion in Algeria and there serves under his father, whom he has not seen since he was a child. After a time Farquhar meets Arnaud and Sylvia again, and the result is trouble. Destinn, the commanding officer, is forced to sentence Farquhar to die, but when he learns that Farquhar is his son, he sacrifices himself so that Farquhar and his sweetheart, Gabrielle, may escape.
