Synopsis
Young lawyer Dick Vane, after marrying Nancy Brown, discovers that her extravagant tastes are beyond his means. When she acquires an expensive gown Dick demands its return, but at a wild party the gown is ruined. Then, though he cannot afford it, Dick consents to buy a new house, and to raise the money he forges his father's signature on a check. Vane blames Nancy for his son's dishonor, and realizing the consequences of her actions, she repents; she and Dick are then forgiven.
