Synopsis
Helen Wainwright goes to live with her aunt after leaving finishing school, and Mrs. Wainwright plans to marry her to young millionaire Lee Morton, on whom Helen makes a dazzling impression. Meanwhile, Helen renews acquaintance with her childhood sweetheart, Donald Scott. Morton parts with his mistress, Lillian Lord, and becomes engaged to Helen. On the day Helen is to wed, Scott returns from a business trip and takes Helen on a boating excursion; they are stranded on an island and compelled to remain there overnight. Angrily, Morton breaks the engagement and returns to Lillian, while the lovers are free to wed.
