Synopsis

Florence shares a flat with her friend Ella in Brick Dust Row, a lower-class neighborhood in New York City. Because the millionaire who owns the building rents out the parlors for business purposes, the girls are forced to meet their men friends in the park. On an outing to Coney Island with her friend, Florence meets the wealthy Blinker and the two fall in love. Blinker, on the verge of proposing to Florence, asks her several questions about her past and is horrified to learn that she meets men in the park. Things look grim for Florence until her fast friend Bill convinces Blinker that her character is sound. Blinker, realizing that he, in fact, owns Florence's tenement, restores the parlors to the residents and marries Florence.
