Synopsis
A melodramatic romance of 17th-century England during the Duke of Monmouth rebellion in which Barbara Winslow, affianced to Sir Peter Dare, attempts to save her cousin, Rupert, a fugitive rebel, from the king's officers and incidentally falls in love with Miles Prothero, a captain in the king's army.
