Synopsis

Caprice Talbert, a mountaineer's daughter, spends some time in the apartment of young playboy Jack Edmunds, who is "roughing it" in her home town. When Caprice's overly suspicious father finds out, he forces Jack to marry her, after which the newlyweds leave for Jack's home in the city. Jack remains upset with the shotgun marriage, and Caprice finds the big-city lifestyle unendurable, so she leaves her husband and returns to the mountains. During her absence, Jack realizes that he does indeed love her, and so he, too, goes to the mountains, where he finds Caprice, tells her how he feels and promises that they will never leave the mountains again.
