Synopsis

Miguel García, a supercilious Spaniard, fails to impress the residents of the Flying U Ranch, with the exception of the owner's young son, Chip. Dunk Whitaker, a neighboring rancher, who has been rustling Bennett's cattle, manages to steal the contract guaranteeing Flying U's rights to a waterhole and tries to force his attentions on Sally, Bennett's niece. Miguel rescues her and takes her to a dance, incurring Dunk's wrath. Sally agrees to Dunk's proposal of marriage in order to save the ranch, and Miguel is captured by Dunk's henchmen. He escapes and confronts the villain and the girl on a lake; Dunk is drowned; Miguel is revealed to be an undercover agent; and, as such, he wins the heart of Sally.
