Synopsis

With Lindbergh as his hero, young Monty (The Boy) buys a junked airplane, rebuilds it, and studies flying in "Ten Easy Lessons by Mail." His premiere exhibition ends in a crash through the roof of an Army recruiting office, where he is inspired to enlist. En route to the training camp, a series of mixups results in his arrival in the entourage of a foreign dignitary; and he is accepted as a friend of the foreigner, who does not speak English. The error is discovered at a banquet, and he is turned over to the sergeant, who puts him to work in the stables. A romance develops when Monty discovers that his suitcase has been delivered to the colonel's governess. He is tricked into joining an air meet in honor of the visitor, and his air stunts win him the prize and the girl's admiration.
