Synopsis

Donald Daring is late for his own wedding, and his piqued bride leaves the church, accompanied by best man Jack Bryan. At the bride's home her mother puts the jewels back in the safe. Donald arrives at the house and, refused admission, enters by an upstairs window. A policeman, thinking Donald a burglar, knocks him out, and Jack takes the jewels from the safe, planting them on Donald's person. Donald is arrested as a thief, and Jack persuades Donald's fiancée to fly to San Diego with him. Donald is bailed out of jail and, learning of the elopement, gives chase, rescuing his disillusioned fiancée from Jack's lecherous clutches. Donald is cleared of all suspicion of wrongdoing, and he and his intended are finally married.
