Synopsis

Anxious for a relationship that involves more than casual sex, Erika remains unsatisfied until she meets playboy Steve, who she believes is capable of giving her the understanding and compassion that will allow her to make love freely. Steve, who has been sexually satisfied with another woman, Sherrie, invites Erika to his apartment, but she insists that they meet on the beach. Later that night, Steve visits Sherrie again, but his thoughts return to Erika. The next day he persuades her that he, too, wants a complete relationship. Erika joyfully abandons all inhibitions with Steve, but her dreams of happiness are shattered when she is forced to recognize that Steve is still tied to Sherrie.
