Synopsis

Barry Adams, a wealthy New York playboy, has his funds cut by his brother-in-law, James Gregor. Barry proposes to society girl Celia Andrews, who refuses, saying that he has too many women. Trouble develops when Barry's past lover, Constance Stowell, a beautiful siren, lures him and tries to get involved again, but Barry is reluctant. He is surprised to learn from an old English friend, Cliff Leyston, that he is engaged to Constance, and Barry arranges for Cliff to overhear Constance admit that she is marrying Cliff only to spite his mother. Kent, a former love of Constance, shocks her and Barry one night, killing himself before their eyes. When Cliff reveals that Kent was his brother, Constance, shattered, steps out of the lives of Cliff and Barry forever. Finally Barry and Celia are together, playing golf.
