Synopsis
Unable to make a living in crowded London, Tony goes to South America. There he becomes owner of a saloon and dancehall. One of the dancers, Maxine, falls in love with him, but he remains true to the memory of Una, his childhood sweetheart. Una lives a life of mad parties and champagne, forgets Tony, and finally yields to the embraces of an admirer. Tony unexpectedly becomes heir to a title and a fortune and returns to London, becoming immediately engaged to Una. She keeps her indiscretion secret until the night before the wedding, when she tells Tony of her slip from virtue. Tony forgives her, but she has taken poison and dies. Tony returns to South America and finds solace in a marriage with Maxine.
