Synopsis
Ross Fenton, an oil company representative, arrives in Led Horse, a boom oil town, to investigate conditions and rescues Sally Crater from an assault by Angel, a gambler, who seeks to lease a ranch from Auntie Crater. "Draw" Egan robs the post office with his gang and is pursued by the sheriff and a posse. When the sheriff is wounded, he makes Fenton his deputy; Sally is rescued from the bandits, and all the men but Egan are captured. Fenton proves that Angel's gambling establishment is "fixed," and Angel takes refuge in the Crater ranchhouse, where he is overcome by Fenton. Fenton discovers oil on the land, and to Sally's delight he brings in a gusher. After capturing Egan, he is united with Sally.
