Synopsis
Although she favors Dick Derwent, Margot Hughes marries Chadwick Himes for his money, with the stipulation that he will release her if he cannot win her love after several years. Margot comes to love her husband, but because she misinterprets his politely reserved manner as a lack of affection, she resumes her flirtation with Dick. Chadwick, in despair, leaves on a long cruise, and Margot, realizing Dick's worthlessness, serves in France as a Red Cross nurse. There she meets Chadwick, and the two finally are united.
