Synopsis
Author Vance McPhee goes for a rest to his country home, where he finds a mysterious woman, Florence Brown, pursued by a gang of men. Florence asks his protection without giving a reason. McPhee fights off the assailants and finds that they are seeking a box containing valuable patents belonging to Florence's father. Having fallen in love with Florence, McPhee follows his doctor's advice and marries her.
