Synopsis

Two golf widows, Ethel Dixon and Mary Ward, decide to get even with their husbands by going to the Tijuana horseraces with Billy Gladstone, a wealthy broker, and Charles Bateman, an insurance salesman. The quartet is followed across the border by Ward and Dixon in one car and by Alice Anderson, Bateman's fiancée, in another car. Complications follow in rapid succession. Later, in a hotel room, Charles explains to his fiancée and the two husbands that the whole affair was arranged as a lesson to illustrate the danger of neglecting their wives for golf. Alice accepts Bateman's explanation and marries him in Tijuana.
