Synopsis

Milt Mulford, a West Point graduate, is commissioned as a lieutenant and assigned to a cavalry outpost near an Apache reservation. The Indians, cheated out of their supplies by Gaynes, a crooked Indian agent, go on the warpath, and Milt takes a detachment of cavalry after them. In his baptism under fire, Milt loses his nerve and fails to lead his men. He is drummed out of the service, and his fiancée, Dixie Denniston, breaks their engagement. ilt later proves both his courage and his qualities of leadership, thereby regaining his commission and ixie's love.
