Synopsis

Wealthy Babs Holworthy falls in love with Buck Brown but gives him up when she discovers that his father is the motorcycle cop who once would not let her father "fix" her speeding ticket, taking her to court instead. She attends a street dance in a tough neighborhood and is dancing with a notorious bootlegger when he is bumped off by members of a rival gang. Buck is in the crowd and gets Babs into his car. The killers kidnap them and force Buck to help them get away. Buck's father gives chase and is shot; Buck is then thrown out of the car. He takes his father's gun, rescues Babs, and brings the killers to justice. Babs learns to love Buck a little.
