Synopsis

To gather material for a novel, Bradford Vinton, the son of wealthy Eliot Vinton, foresakes his life of luxury to experience life in the London slums where he meets and falls in love with mission singer Sylvia Alden. Upon hearing of Brad's romance, Eliot threatens to disown his son, and to further insure that Brad will never have Sylvia, frames the girl with false charges of prostitution. Sylvia, ashamed, disappears, but Brad remains true. Disowned by his father, Brad establishes a cheap restaurant for the poor where Stagg, the crook who framed Sylvia, stabs him. His life in danger, Brad is rushed to the hospital where Sylvia, now a nurse, offers to give her blood to save his life. When Eliot learns of the girl's devotion, all is forgiven, and the young lovers are reunited.
