Synopsis

Myra Pendleton returns from college to meet her father, whom she has never seen, in a new home he has purchased for her. Finding he has been called away, she takes over the management of the house. Kirk Waring, the estate's former owner, returns from Europe, unaware that his home has been sold, and finds it occupied by Myra. Needing money, and discovering that Paul Duprez, who holds the power of attorney, has sold the estate and disappeared, Waring enters the house to obtain some hidden bonds. Myra recognizes him but allows his escape; then, followed by Kirk, she goes to her father's secretary and discovers him to be Duprez, the man who robbed Waring--and her own father After explanations, Waring forgives Duprez, proposes to Myra, and is accepted.
