Synopsis
Because of his bad memory, Johnny is discharged from his job as a shoe clerk but is hired as a guide for an Egypt-bound tourist party led by Thomas Brooks, father of May, with whom Johnny falls in love. In Egypt Johnny meets a sheik who wishes to escape his marriage to a fat princess; he induces Johnny to exchange clothes with him; and Johnny, to his dismay, finds himself married to the fat girl. Then he learns that his beloved, May, has been captured by desert bandits. After a struggle, he escapes from his predicament and rescues May during a sandstorm. Later, he discovers that his unfortunate marriage is not valid and that he is free to marry May.
