Synopsis
Aviators Terry Owen and Major Savage meet in the New Mexico desert to experiment with gas for night skywriting, and there they rescue Inez Carillo, who is being pursued by horsemen. She tells them of her grandfather, who is chronically ill, and of Murdoch, a renegade foreman who wants to marry her to gain control of their hacienda and is actually poisoning her grandfather. Upon returning home, she agrees to marry Murdoch to prolong her grandfather's life. When she overhears a plan to poison Terry's water, she sends him a warning. Terry signals Savage, who gets aid from border police. Murdoch's men are captured; Murdock escapes into the desert but dies of thirst. Free again to wed, Inez accepts Terry.
