Synopsis

An inventor, who has been desperately trying to see Hammersley, a millionaire, to sell him an invention, is about to despair over his failure to reach him. Jerry, a clerk, has lost his job, and his wife Tamara has rejoined the Follies, causing them to separate though they still love each other. Hammersley, chancing to meet Tamara, has become infatuated. Jubilant at her acceptance of a dinner invitation, Hammersley tells Jerry, who informs him of his own troubles. He advises Jerry to return to his wife and the inventor to go to the millionaire's home. Hammersley tries to win Tamara's love, but finding she is Jerry's wife, he brings them together and accepts the inventor's project.
