Synopsis
During a welcome-home party for Mary, the daughter of a rancher, the payroll is spirited away from the rancher's desk by Black Mike, a desperado who has received information about the payroll from Cal, the ranch foreman. The pursuing posse includes Bill (the butt of many practical jokes), who separates from the group to practice shooting and accidentally finds Black Mike's gang. Given credit for the deaths of two robbers, who shot each other, Bill is sent to a cabin to capture a third, and he rescues Mary from Cal with hand-to-hand combat.
