Synopsis

Wallace Layson, left by his dying mother in the care of Buck, a half-breed, has no knowledge of his true identity. Layson's father returns to cheat his own son out of a ranch, which he will inherit on his twenty-first birthday, and induces Rosa, a dancehall girl, to marry young Layson, who is in love with Helen. Buck tells him that the real heir has died and persuades him to pose as the heir, thus foiling the plans of his father and securing a home for young Layson and Helen. Buck then reveals the boy's identity and departs without revealing that he is the boy's half brother.
