Synopsis
Helen is reared by Cyrus Braidwood as his daughter, but, as a young woman, she discovers that her true father is Lait Rodman, against whom Braidwood holds a written confession of murder. Rodman retrieves the confession, and Helen goes to his apartment looking for it, there meeting Steve Randall, a young bachelor. They mistake each other for crooks and are soon imprisoned in an underground thieves' den. The den is flooded, and the two barely escape. Everything works out in the end, and Steve and Helen agree to wed.
