Synopsis

Clifton Brant, long thought dead, returns after adventuring around the world to his native town along the St. Lawrence River, Canada, to beat up millionaire Ivan Hurd, who cheated his father. Hurd sends the police after him, and Cliff takes to "The Ancient Highway." He meets and falls in love with Antoinette St. Ives, who is also being victimized by Hurd. Together they plan to thwart Hurd. Finally, after numerous adventures, Cliff dynamites the log jam caused by Hurd and effects his defeat. Cliff and Antoinette marry.
