Synopsis
Touring the West with her sweetheart, Sir Charles Beverly, Mildred Manning wants to experience frontier life firsthand. While Charles gambles, two drunken cowboys claim Mildred as a "prize" until ranch owner Del Burton saves her, then claims her for himself. Being with Mildred softens some of Del's roughness, so he gives her up to a rescue party. Later, in love with Mildred, Del goes East to look for her. A friend makes Del's appearance more citified, and when finally he does find Mildred, she cannot recognize him. At a masquerade ball, Del once again wears his Western clothes and Mildred recognizes him as "the beast" who kidnapped her, but realizes that she loves him.
