Synopsis

Betty Brewster is sent to San Francisco by her father, a bean magnate, to deliver a contract renewing an option on some essential canning properties. The trip evolves into a series of misadventures during which her father's secretary Kirk, tries unsuccessfully to aid Betty. Meanwhile Wingate, attorney for Brewster's rival Ellis, attempts to wrangle the papers from her by various means, including trickery and theft. Betty loses but eventually recovers the papers from Wingate, races to San Francisco on a motorcycle, and delivers the contract on time. Her father rewards her by making her his manager, and she and Kirk are married.
