Synopsis
Young tin can salesman Gerald Faulkner is in love with chorus girl Carlotta La Mere. Gerald's Uncle Dunley promises him $100,000 if he is married by the following Saturday. Charlotta agrees to marriage, but asks for a postponement the day before the wedding. She has meanwhile met Uncle Dunley and begun a flirtation with him, not knowing of his relationship to Gerald. Norma Martin, a stenographer, agrees to help Gerald by taking part in a phony marriage ceremony, but when a real minister arrives instead of a fake one, Gerald and Norma are actually married. Complications involving Carlotta ensue. Uncle Dunley's flirtations are exposed. Gerald and Norma discover they are in love and decide to remain married.
