Synopsis
"A pugilist, after his manager skips the town, is stranded in a western hamlet. Through the influence of friends he makes, he is made a sergeant of the state police, and comes into conflict with the crooked gang that controls the town. He is in love with the daughter of the district attorney, but she believes him her father's enemy. A hold-up is staged, and every obstacle placed in the hero's way when he attempts to round up the guilty parties. He puts up a fight, however, and eventually triumphs, practically singlehanded."
