Synopsis
Ludovic Cruchot, a strict disciplinarian who has recently been promoted to sergeant of the gendarmes, arrives with his daughter Nicole at the French resort of Saint-Tropez, where he soon finds himself dealing with the problems of tourists. He attempts to capture several elusive beach nudists, while Nicole deceives her new friends by pretending that her father is a millionaire yachtsman. She unknowingly becomes involved in the theft of a Rembrandt from the local museum, but Ludovic apprehends the crooks on their yacht and recovers the painting.
