Synopsis

Bank manager Henri Verdier meets fashion model Karine when her car breaks down. He falls in love with her and is persuaded by her brother, Robert, to embezzle some money from his bank to finance a uranium venture. Henri subsequently discovers that Robert and Karine are not related, and he starts a fight with Robert, but Robert forces Henri at gunpoint to help rob the bank. Their plot to incriminate Philippe, Henri's wife's lover, is successful, and Philippe is falsely arrested for the robbery. Fashion photographer Jean Distinghin, however, while working in the area, photographs Henri during the robbery. Inspector Fougas shoots Robert while attempting to apprehend the two robbers, but Henri escapes on a motorboat with Karine as a hostage. Distinghin pursues them, and Fougas arrives to rescue him from Henri, who is killed in the ensuing struggle.
