Synopsis

Sir Claude and Lady Wyverne come to Arabia: Sir Claude to hunt Barbary sheep, and Lady Wyverne to satisfy her longing for romance. While her husband is busy hunting, Lady Wyverne falls victim to the charms of Benchaalal, a seductive Arabian chief. Under his guidance, she sees the desert under a romantic moon and hears native love music. While Lady Wyverne dreams of what life might have been like if she had surrendered herself to the chieftain, Benchaalal plans to abduct her. Meanwhile, Sir Claude, at a distant village, hears disturbing stories about the chieftain's past, and, alarmed for his wife's safety, hurriedly returns. He arrives just in time to see Benchaalal attack his wife, and is about to shoot when a mad Marabout recognizes Benchaalal as the man who murdered his sweetheart years earlier, and stabs him. His wife's peril rekindles Sir Claude's feelings for her, and the couple renew their love.
