Synopsis

Dorando, a Spanish Army officer, becomes a notorious bandit leader (known as El Bandolero) when his wife is killed by his commanding officer, the Marqués de Bazán, and he gets his revenge by kidnaping the marqués' young son, Ramón. Years later, Ramón and Dorando's daughter, Petra, fall in love, but confronted with Dorando's extreme displeasure, he leaves and becomes a famous matador. Ramón is gored when Concha, a vamp who was unable to win his love, persuades the marqués to order the matador to kill the bull before it is tired. The marqués learns that Ramón is his son and is reconciled with Dorando; both fathers approve the marriage of Ramón and Petra.
